STUDIO

Yoga & Meditation Center

The yoga Studio location is on the Main Street of our lovely little town of Bridgton, Maine, nestled between The Bridgton News and #302 Art Gallery and Beth’s Cafe. We are located directly across from the Bridgton Library. Our little Sanctuary has become the talk of the town in all the best ways. It has been renovated and lovingly added to. The setting is warm and inviting and suits the small town with Big Love.

We are excited to share that 2 years ago we opened and are now  expanding in February and March 2018. We are adding an additional studio space dedicated to training and meditation.  A small office space will be available for healing practitioners to rent. There will also be an office space for our directors.

Thread of Teaching

Amy draws from the framework of Ashtanga Vinyasa. Over the past 12 years she has had the opportunity to study extensively with many of today’s Master Teachers; Tias Little, Richard Freeman, Shiva Rea, and Baron Baptiste. She continues to study with Tias, founder of Prajna Yoga, in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Amy has dedicated her studies and ongoing training to Tias and Surya Little. Along with her trainings at Prajna she continues to attend silent retreats. She has also embraced new studies at Upaya Zen Center for her own personal growth and her commitment to waking.  Her thread of teaching has become a style that is adaptable to all, without compromising the integrity and foundation of the roots of Yoga. The intention held in each class is to work with awareness first and a sequentially asana practice. This practice builds towards a peak pose. Each class experience is unique.  May you leave each class with a felt sense of lightness and awareness, as well as a strong sense of stability.

Asana ( or the physical practice) is just one limb of yoga. If you feel compelled to study further and learn about the other aspects of yoga, I highly recommend Amy’s intensives. In a supportive community you will discover what it means to journey on “ the path of practice.” After a long winter, spring into action and take the leap, you won’t be disappointed!
